Skyportal is Down!I think that we all knew that this day was coming. Skyportal and Webdogg are officlally down as of today. The writing has been on the wall for quite some time, but it's still a surprise to NOT have the site respond when I go to it.
There are many members whose email addresses I would have liked to obtained if, for nothing more, than to be able to keep up with them independent of Skyportal. Instead, I'm posting here in an effort that maybe Google will be good to me and place this relatively high in the search rankings when people look for 'Skyportal.
I have a site (http://www.wingflap.net/) that I'm in the process of completing. That will eventually replace this site. It's a portal about portals. It's built in Drupal and is an attempt to provide functionality that Skyportal users are used to. It's also going to be a site that's friendly to Drubies (Drupal Noobies). Please check back for updates. |

Drupal, TinyMCE, and IMCE all combined make a kick-ass content management tool. The installation is kind of tricky because of all of the moving parts.
To Integrate IMCE, extract the IMCE folder from the tar.gz file you downloaded. Copy it to the /sites/all/modules folder.
Then, and here's the tricky part, you have to edit the template.php file in your theme folder (/sites/all/themes/[your theme]) and drop in some code...
